Well I am home again from my trip to the Yukon, a little early but it was an awesome trip! I hit Whitehorse, and Dawson City and the Kluane National Park…. totally amazing! Once I get my photos sorted out and a write-up done I’ll post it here for everyone.

These last few days have brought about many changes in my life, and I would say for the better. It was my 25th birthday on Tuesday and I had an excellent get-together with people at one of our local watering holes here in town. Yesterday I also found out I got hired on with a new company in a new position. Today I was supposed to fly to California with the old company and when I gave them my two weeks notice they simply told me to go home and that we would just call it done. So, I don’t start my new job until June 27th and I have nearly two and a half weeks of vacation!! Go me!! heh, very exciting.

I have decided to do the road trip to the north like I have been talking about since the last summer. I don’t think I’ll be able to get to Anchorage or any of AK but will end up in Whitehorse and Dawson City in the Yukon (c: I am really pumped for it, I am planning on leaving on Friday the 10th and being back Friday the 24th so I can start the new job on the 27th.

Anyway, thats the plan and I am really pumped for it. The truck goes in tomorrow for an oil change and then I have a few more errands to run and then come friday I am outta here!!
