We’re back from Mt. Chephren, it was amazing, frustrating, exhausting and overall a great learning experience. I’ll write it up soon and post some more pics.

Hi All, I’m back from Montana and enjoying this cloudy Calgary weather! Today I’m headed off to Mount Chephren up on the Icefield Parkway. Be back Friday!

Billings MT

I made it to Billings MT last night after about 6 canceled or changed flights; at one point I not only had to change terminals, but I even had to change airports! Good times all around. Billings is good, there is lots of work here and the city seems decent. Granted, I’ve been working all morning and haven’t seen a lot yet, but there is still hope.

Short but sweet

Today we wrapped up our work here in Texas and we capped it off with  back-to-back flights that were 100%, I love that feeling. The good news is that on Monday I’m flying up to Billings to work with a crew there, and despite some  bad weather in the area I’m looking forward to it.

Return to Midland

Well… I’m back in Midland/Odessa, it’s a surreal experience. I was here a few years ago with a different company and under different circumstances but all the same, it was a very familiar feel about it. Right now I’m going to go for a drive around town and see if I can’t rustle up some dinner.

Also, my “Where am I” page is kinda broken right now. I tried to put in a map from Google and now WordPress won’t let me edit it at all… I’ll try and fix it tonight.
