Grand Junction

Tonight I’m in Grand Junction Colorado, it seems to be a decent town but then again it’s also very dark right now. I missed my original flight today, the application process for a new visa took over 2hrs(!) most of which was waiting… terribly frustrating. Nevertheless, I’m here now and have a spiffy blue Subaru for a rental car so I think it’ll be a good time.

Home again…

Yup, the obligatory “home again” post. I got in last night after a classic 9hr flight from Heathrow. It’s very good to be home again after 2mo of travel. Anyway, nothing important or interesting to say, just letting everyone know I’m home again!

Cheers,

Wireless on the train?

They have free wireless on the train… it’s a long ride, and the wireless is slow but it’s better than nothing.

Also, I’m reading jPod by Douglas Coupland at the moment… it’s weird, but quirky and good

Maybe I should find a place to stay in London, or at the very least stop rambling…

Newcastle to London

My time in Newcastle has been fantastic! Special thanks to Barry and Fiona for their amazing hospitality and special thanks to Barry’s liver for really working hard this weekend (c: It was great to see both of them again, and I’m a little sad to be leaving tomorrow. Tomorrow I’m catching the train down to London, jolly, bustling London where I’ll spend the last few days of my trip before I fly back home on the 10th. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing London and I’m also definitely looking forward to being home again. See ya soon!

England

Tonight I’m in Newcastle hanging out with Barry. It’s great to see him again after probably 2 years or so, it’s fantastic how people can change and still stay the same. I’ve also been to Edinburgh, Airdrie, Ft. Williams, Airdrie (again), Stirling, and Broadford on the Isle of Skye. Skye was fantastic! Can’t wait to go there again… but on the other hand there is a Beer Festival in town this weekend…
